There may be unavoidable occasions where special category data is collected on a multimedia device at a SCL event or activity or when applying for some volunteer positions. In these cases consent will be sought to process the data.

Where we need to collect personal data by law, or under the terms of a contract we have with you, and you fail to provide that data when requested, we may not be able to perform the contract we have or are trying to enter into with you (for example, to provide you with goods or services). When a specific service is being provided on our behalf. We will ensure that your personal information is handled as if we were processing it ourselves and under the same terms as this privacy notice. How long will we use your personal data for?

Your Legal Rights
Under the data protection legislation you have a number of rights with regard to your personal data. You have the right to:
Request access to your personal data (commonly known as a “data subject access request”). This enables you to receive a copy of the personal data we hold about you and to check that we are lawfully processing it.
